Classically-trained, award-winning Soumya Rajaram is New England’s treasured interpreter of Bharatanatyam, an ancient, highly refined performance art considered to be the oldest classical dance tradition in India. Soumya is joined by various musicians as well as other dance artists who perform in other classical styles.

With original music by Quentin Chiapetta, NYC/Boston-based choreographer Pat Catterson brings a high level of sophistication to an evocative program of contemporary dance solos sure to delight fans of all dance. Ten dynamic works by ten skilled dance artists – five filmed in different cities around the world and five performed live – plus insightful commentary by the choreographer about her artistic process.

Brothers Johnny and Andres Giraldo, originators of Salsa y Control, gear up for the group’s 20th Anniversary as gracious, welcoming hosts of this fun-filled event that includes expert DJs, performance demonstrations and audience participation as part of an immersive experience in the contagion of Latin-American salsa culture.
