2023 Dance for World Community™ Festival

Advocacy Partner Application

The Festival traditionally brings together dance artists, activists and enthusiasts to celebrate and raise awareness about the local and global issues that matter most to the entire community.

This year’s festival will be held on Saturday, September 23, on Massachusetts Avenue between Bow Street and Putnam Avenue.

We are pleased to announce that we are presenting the event in partnership with Massachusetts Peace Action, Cambridge Arts and Arrow Streets Arts. We very much look forward to the significant enhancements that each of these organizations will bring to the this year’s festival experience for the participants and attendees alike.

The indoor/outdoor event will include four performance stages, various dance forms presented by over 50 dance groups, free introductory-level dance classes and exhibitors along “Advocacy Way” on Massachusetts Avenue between Bow Street and Putnam Avenue.

A free event for all to enjoy, the Annual Dance for World Community Festival brings together diverse dance performers, dance instructors and activists from local arts, social service and advocacy agencies to:

— Raise awareness about critical social issues and the growing urgency to promote world peace and climate justice, and

— Celebrate the power of dance, and the arts in general, to create social change.

This annual event draws a diverse audience as well as prominent media exposure, making it a unique partnership opportunity for your organization. All are welcome to join the celebration.

Exhibiting organizations must submit an application for a space and table on Advocacy Way. The $30 Exhibitors Fee includes a table, tablecloth and two chairs. Reserve your space today!
