As part of the YWCA’s National Stand Against Racism, Dance Against Racism brings together diverse young dancers to perform for each other and take part in discussion activities about how race impacts their daily lives and the dance community. Youth groups perform for each other and then participate in a facilitated discussion. The event provides a safe and comfortable place for local youth to share their talents and also address critical community issues. Family and friends are welcome to attend, and the performances are open to the public.
